A place where design, fun finds and family collide

We have been so thankful for our outdoor space since the stay-at-home order started. It’s provided us a space to get some fresh air and truly relax. I mentioned in my previous post that we were planning to give our backyard a little refresh. Well, we are done and I’m excited to share it with you all. Let’s start with our seating area around the fire pit.
Personally my favorite spot is on the new Korbin 3-piece sofa. I love the color of the teak frame and the beige cushions. It is low profile which fits perfectly with our aesthetic. There’s just something so inviting about an outdoor sofa. I really wanted a spot where our entire family could sit together because before we just each had a separate chair. Now we have a spot to snuggle at the end of the day with this sofa being 88.5″ long. It filled this wall space perfectly.
I can’t deny that this space becomes even better when we turn the fire pit on. And being able to put my feet up now on the Hinkel outdoor pouf has added an extra level of comfort. I definitely prefer putting my feet on a soft pouf, rather than on the edge of the fire pit. I love how this pouf brought out the charcoal detail in our outdoor rug and added an extra layer of texture.
And if you have followed me long enough, you know my love for throw pillows. I’ve used a mix of vintage pillows and outdoor pillows for that added layer of cozy. The Lassiter geometric outdoor pillows look great on my black chairs. I ordered these pillows in the “black,” but just know they are definitely more of a gray which worked great for me to provide some contrast.
