We have officially entered Fall, but I don’t believe the weather here in Southern California has caught on quite yet. We are still cruising around the mid 80’s which makes me so thankful for our Advocate ceiling fan from Hunter Fan Company. We had this fan installed about a month ago and it has been life changing. We have yet to have to roll in our big AC unit which in all the summer’s past, we’ve had to bring it in mid-August.
I choose the Advocate LED fan in noble bronze that has a slight down rod. Although we only have 8 foot ceilings, I knew that the low profile option wasn’t going to give our space the visual I wanted. I really feel that the negative space that the down rod provides was essential to making the visual of the ceiling fan feel more open. The color of the fan is a very dark bronze, so it reads more black than anything, which for our home is perfect. Doesn’t it look like the fan was just meant for our space? The second it was put up, it just felt right.
I also have to mention that this fan has WiFi capabilities, so it can work with a number of home systems; Alexa, Apple Home kit, Google assistant.
We have yet to turn this fan off since it was installed and truly can’t believe we survived so many summers without it. It is such a quiet fan that you don’t even know it is on. And my most favorite thing that has really changed for us is the light on the fan. Before, the only light we had was being provided by lamps. Now we have a wonderful, all over glow throughout this space in the evenings. We couldn’t be happier.
We want to thank Hunter Fan Company for allowing us to partner with them and show how a ceiling fan can still work wonderfully with your home’s design aesthetic. Thank goodness for good looking fans!
