A place where design, fun finds and family collide

Bold art {my Framebridge piece}

I know I’ve said it before in another post, but I have no problem saying it again…I love big, bold art.  I definitely prefer it over a bunch of small pieces.  Now don’t get me wrong a gallery wall is still great, I just created one in our new homework nook, but sometimes you’re going to get way more impact if you just go big.  That is exactly what I did in our family room with my new Framebridge piece.  The frame I used is their new American Hardwood collection Ash gallery frame.

This large art piece filled that wall space perfectly and really makes a huge statement.  The art was purchased as a digital download on Etsy and only cost about $7, but it is truly gorgeous.  It is a really moody tree scene.  You can find it here. I posted awhile ago a round up of other bold art pieces, you can find all links in this post.  So don’t be afraid to go big, I promise it’ll come through for you.

    Love this!! I’m wanting to do a large print in my living room and found one on Etsy I love. Where do you recommend printing it?

      Hi Rachel…Costco is a great option or Staples if you want a more matted option rather than photo paper.

    What is the wall color in this room? It’s so serene looking!

      Hi there…it is Benjamin Moore Light Pewter and it is truly the lightest gray with a touch of warmth.
