A place where design, fun finds and family collide

Hello {and a few fun finds}

Wow, I have been busy and this little ole blog has been neglected.  It is amazing how difficult it can be for me to find the time to sit down and write a meaningful blog post when I’m trying to be a present parent, devoted wife and overall enjoy moments each day.  I’ve been struggling with the balance as I just can’t seem to get my grove down.  This is where I’m loving Instagram!  Be sure to follow me on that as it is so much quicker for me to share my daily happenings through photos.  Be sure to comment and say hello.  I love the relationships that can be formed through Instagram, it is such a great community.  This post really doesn’t have much direction to it, but I wanted to just pop in and say hello and tell you where to find me most days.  In the meantime, I thought I’d share a few finds I’ve been loving and may be incorporating into a few of the rooms I’m working on right now…currently there are 5!

I’m loving this chalkboard world map from Dirtsa Studio on Etsy

Having the ability to customize it as you please is so fun for a kids room.  I also love it just as is.  The strong contrast it can provide between its background and light colored wall just screams amazing to me.

I’m loving this laundry printable created by A Typical English Home as it is very similar to the one I purchased for my laundry room, which you can see below

I’m so happy with the laundry room print I purchased as it reads perfectly my style.
And I have to share some of the newest additions of art to my kids’ room because I just adore it. Hazel Ink Shop has been created by the raddest lady ever and I couldn’t wait to support her new endeavor.  A few of the images I purchased can be seen hanging from my kids art wire in their room.

I purchased the ‘Be Rad’ print and the ‘flamingo’ from her shop and printed it right away…I love that kind of art.  Be sure to view all of her pieces because there are some cuuuuttteeee ones!
