Wowza Wednesday

Happy Wednesday everyone!  I have to say I am having a pretty great hump day so far.  This beauty has finally made an appearance in my in-progress STILL work area:

Any of you that follow my Pinterest boards know that I spied this desk at my favorite store, Target for just about nothing ($129.99).  What finally got me to go get it was that they, for some strange reason, discounted it to $109…well, it now lives in my “office.” 

That isn’t my Wowza though…
My Wowza is a full on, so proud, mom moment!  My son is 4 1/2 and goes to 3 days of preschool a week and loves it.  This is the time of the year where registration for kindergarten occurs and so does the decision of if you send your child or not.  I had been going back and forth with this decision…I felt he was completely ready.  We did the Chauncy & Bruce testing just to get a “professional” opinion…well, boo.  They completely said he was a rock star when it came to the intellectual side, but socially they feel having him repeat another year was their recommendation.  I was shocked by this, as were so many others that know my son.  So what does a mommy do?  Well, I have been anxiously awaiting conference week in order to get the opinion of my sons teacher.  Today was that day and this mommy is smiling and proud and best of all confident that my son is starting kindergarten next year!

This isn’t the usual Wowza, but again Wowzas are anything that makes you happy, smile, giggle etc.
