My last post covered my plan for this DIY and today I am here to share the result! I could not be happier with how this project turned out. It wasn’t a difficult one; just a repetitive one. From cutting the foam, to cutting the fabric, to wrapping each vertical…it was just a lot of the same steps over and over times 10 making this a totally doable project. Just be sure to turn on some good music to get you through.
Lets recap real quick the items I used for this project that were gifted to me by OnlineFabricStore: (continue to the end for an exclusive promo code)
3 yards of PKL Studio Exposure Granite
2 yards batting
Other items used, include:
1/4″ plywood cut into 6″x 27″ strips (I needed 10)
staple gun/ staples
spray adhesive
strap ties ( I used 2-24″ and 2-36″)
french cleat (30″)
1/2″ wood screws
Last step will be to attach the wall mounted piece from the french cleat kit. Then you can hang the masterpiece of a headboard you just made! Are you ready to see Greyson’s new headboard?!!!!
