A place where design, fun finds and family collide

Outer Space Nursery {navy, olive and orange}

I haven’t designed a design board for fun in sooo long. I thought it was time to do it. And I’ve been creating so many little girl nurseries that I thought it was time to do a board for a little boy.  I’m kind of into navy at the moment.  It is such a strong, rich color, but can be mixed with so many other color options.  How about olive and orange??  I’m sure if I just said that without showing you you may think…um, yuck!  You’d be surprised how well these colors work together.  Keeping the furniture colors neutral by using a white and wood crib and dresser allows for the accessories to stand out.  A navy patterned rug grounds the space.  It isn’t the largest rug, so layering it on a nice, fluffy flokati rug would be just great.
